About Vanguard Facility Solutions

Our Story

Started by someone who noticed what most cleaning companies miss.

Vanguard Facility Solutions was founded by Nick Mirasola, a Long Island native who grew up in Seaford and still calls it home. After years of watching commercial cleaning contracts get handed to whichever company bid lowest — and seeing the quality that resulted — Nick started Vanguard to do it differently.

The premise is simple: show up when you say you will, do the work the contract actually calls for, and take responsibility when something isn't right. That's not a marketing slogan. It's the minimum standard most cleaning companies fail to hit.

We're not trying to be the biggest cleaning company on Long Island. We're trying to be the one property managers and general contractors call when they need it done correctly the first time. That means staying focused on commercial work — offices, post-construction sites, and multi-unit turnovers — and building a team that knows the difference between “looks clean” and actually being clean.

What we stand behind

Four things every Vanguard job is measured against.

Detail Over Speed

Anyone can run a mop. The difference is what you notice before the client does — baseboards, vents, door frames, the corners everyone else skips.

Local, Not Subcontracted

Every job is handled by crews we train and stand behind. No middlemen, no rotating faces, no finger-pointing when something goes wrong.

Accountability First

We walk the site with you before we invoice. If something is off, we fix it — not argue about it.

Built for Commercial

We're set up for offices, job sites, and multi-unit properties — not residential side work. That focus is why contractors and property managers keep us on call.

Based in Seaford. Serving all of Long Island.

We cover every town in Nassau and Suffolk County. If you're not sure whether we reach your property, call us — we probably do.
